An Avocado Salad
This is for a cookbook that I am putting together. The intention here is to create an attractive center piece, surrounded with guacamole in vegetables shells with corn chips,
Guacamole typically is mashed ripe avocados with diced onions, tomatoes, garlic, peppers, lime juice, cumin, salt and pepper to taste.
. This would make a great veggie canapé tray for a warm summer party for your guests.

I really appreciate what you just did….if you like to give it a real kick add some fresh green peppers, the hot kind.
I don’t have the palate for too much ‘heat’ in my food, but I can manage a little ‘kick’ thanks for the tip.
Then you can leave it out. Thanks!!

What a fab idea. Will run with this the next time I have dinner guests. It will look super impressive. Looking forward to the cookery book.
This is really a straight forward recipe…with a little more of your wonderful imagination you could make it look and taste even greater.
I wish we had ingredients for sale locally as good looking as this photograph! We have lots of supermarkets everywhere this post reminds me to try and find more delicatessens to shop from!
I’m sure if the local markets don’t have all those so called exotic stuff available you must live in a small town, and so…. you have most certainly have cleaner air and quieter environment to be contemplative…I hope!!!
Delicious, now I know what I want for lunch.
I love your pic, so vibrant.
Thank you so. so much. Really are you going to have poached eggs for lunch? And if you are you may have to double up.
It looks delicious, but avocado and don’t agree.
Thank you very much. for enjoying the post….I’m so sorry that you don’t agree with avocados, they are a rich source the good cholesterol that we require.
